thought i'd start this area off by putting some spots to ride in Tassie up!
I live in the southern area of Tas, the best places to ride here would be mt.wellington. On the mountain there are a few tracks such as radfords which starts at the springs then goes onto s57 which has a few nice drop and jumps.
secondly theres Tolosa mountain bike park situtaed in Glenorchy, which happens to be kind of below mt.Wellington. There is a national dh track, 4x track, small northshore section and a small dirt jump section.
there are also a few rounds there for the Tasmanian dh series held there as well.
The north of the state (bad part) heh!
This has the Lilydale dh,4x'y track
and newly underway dirt jump park which i dont have much info about at the moment.
