What is a manual:
A manual is like a wheely except you don't pedal. There are two types of manual there is one where you sit down (usually done on a DH bike) and one where you stand (usually done on DJ/Street bikes)

How to manual:
1. Roll along at a comfortable pace
2. In one movement pull up and back on the handlebars while pushing forward with your feet and hips. This takes a while to master.
3. Once your front wheel is up either sit down or remain standing and use your back brake to stop yourself from flipping over back-wards.
4. If you feel your front wheel drop or you are loosing speed stand and start to pump with your legs and hips.
5. Once enough people are amazed at how well you can manual drop the front wheel.

Variations:
Some cool things you can do with this trick are:
Hop into a manual over something
Hop out of the manual onto something
Land a jump manualing
I find going extremely fast down a hill makes it easier, why i dont know but by all means i do not suggest this to newbies.

Yeah i used to do that, it does make it easyer. BUT this should only be attemped if you have good brakes.

If you get your manuals dialed, Then you dont need brakes. Its easy as.

I assume that they wouldnt be reading this if they already knew how to manual so for the sake of the people who are trying to learn to manual then it is a good idea to keep your back brake handy when you are manualling
