What do you think of a wheel world wiki? I have been thinking of putting one in but i am not sure if it would get used...
I think its a good idea if you make it like a seperate forum like all the subforums, otherwise, if its just a minuscule little link up the top of the page like on farkin, it won't be used.

Make the link big and add it to the subforum list up the top, and I vote yes.

You know thats a realy good idea! I was just going to make it a link from the home page but i think putting it as one of the topics in the forum is a better idea.

I reckon just put it up regardless of what peoples votes say.

If people think its not worth having, then they don't have to look at it, simple as that, but don't complain when mods/members flame them for posting a topic thats well covered in the wiki.
You could just change the name of the site to Farkin. I reckon that'd work well also.

Yeah cos we want our less experienced members to be flamed to the s***house when they ask a valid, but simple question like on Farkin.

Idiot.

whats a wiki??

A user editable knowledge base like http://www.wikipedia.org

I have decided to can this idea for the moment though because i dont think we have enough members for it to be a sucsess. Look at the photo gallery and the shout box, they hardly get used.

I don't think that the shout box and photo gallery are good things to compare to.

A wiki could do wonders for the site, I'd definately contribute to it, I have tonnes of DIY repair jobs for people and the use of certain tools, just depends when I have time to (damn year 11).

If you post them in the how to or tech section i will transfer them to a wiki if we add one. If you have any other ideas for the mtb info section as well, i would be glad to add them.
