I am trying to find a good tires that is a ballence between pavement and hardpack (DJ and street) But i still want it to have a bit of grip as things are getting looser and looser with this drought. Any thoughts?
yeh def holy rollers or npj but they only come in 2.1
another one for holyrollers! they're so smooth and sweet
yeh another one for holy rollers!
or just get some semi-slick tires
yeah i went with holy rollers on my BMX racer and they grip sweet, they worked better with a wheely high psi in them. the tires and tubes are 20" x one and three eights and i run them on about 60-70 PSI and they grip more then running say 40-50PSI. well thats for me anyway.
has anyone had any experience with larsens?
im pretty interested in them and just wondering what their like?
I have a set of holy rollers in Brisbane if you want them. I used them for about a week (offroad) when i got my STP but changed them to a set of old Minion DH's. Ill give em to you for $40, they are mainly hard pack/street but they arnt to bad offroad, they do have knobs.
Sorry, but someone had to say it.
Holy Rollers are shithouse tires. I've had a number of sets and they are okay, but the NPJ signature tires blow them out of the water. I will never buy another Holy Roller.
The NPJs are simply incredible. They do cost a bit more, at $70 each, but they appear to last a lot longer, the tread pattern is incredible, they roll stupidly fast/far, and grip extremely well on the road in the dry and wet alike. Haven't had the most experience on dirt, but from the little experience I've had they are at least as good as Holy Rollers.
Please don't buy Holy Rollers if you can get the NPJs, support Nicho.
I know, thats why i am selling them
