I have a question about my 06 manitou stance kingpins. On the bottom of the left hand lower there is a "grind bolt" and i was wondering if i could take it out and put a bolt with a bigger head in(with the same thread) so i can grind on it better.
But now for my real question, if i took that bolt out would the oil come out or is that the side with the spring on?
From memory manatou actually makes an aftermarket grind bolt for their forks. you probably could just replace it with a bigger bolt though. As for the oil, you should be right if you undo it upside down. If you dont mind me asking, why do you want to grind on a set of tripple clamp freeride forks?
well i don't wheely, its just the person i got the forks off was learning to grind with them and its all chipped and scratched so i was thinking of getting a bigger and better looking bolt to use
