My god, the pugsleys are sick. In both ways, full XTR is a bit rich for a ridgid but hey, it's your bike, your life. Pics on this sight? Id love to see it!

Hardtails all the way.
Since the untimely demise of my AC I've learnt to love the hardtail again, even if the rebound is a bit quick. Nothing beats chasing the big dualies on a HT (and landing drops and jumps smother than them). Always enjoy getting to the bottom of a track and the guy you've been chasing realises he couldn't get rid of a hardtail XC bike.
With the way all of the trails are the SEQ (dasiy and gap creek anyway) IMO a 6' freeride/trail rig is overkill. It can all be ridden on a hardtail with ease. May as well stay home and play a game cause once you ride a hardtail (or the rigid when I'm not feeling to brittle) everything else seems like virtual reality!!
thats my 2c anyway. I''d love a nomad but I'd prefer the trails to ride it on first!!!!

I do now. The only think i miss is the flow. I find it a bit harder ride smoothly on trails with small to medium sized rocks. Big ones are fine because its heaps easyer to bunny hop on a HT
