Anybody? If so tell us why, if not then why not? I personally like the pump of terrain and feeling the terrain beneath me, and it's sick outjumping/downhilling a guy on a dually. Plus it's cheaper and it's a hell of a lot cooler saying "I did that on a hardtail."

Yeh i ride a hardtail.
Reason for it is that it is cheaper and i can do it all on the one bike.

I ride an 06 jamis Komodo awsome trail riding type bike i wheely enjoy riding hardtails as big kev said it can do it all. And not as many moving parts that can screw up.
I have a wheely dodgy hardtail I use sometimes if that counts. It has some $$$P.I.M.P.$$$ RST forks with 63mm of travel. I don't think it wheely counts as a bike though.
i used to ride a stp... dont give me that look! lol

mad bike on the smoothe tracks but used to loose my feet in the rough stuff.. been riding my demo9 now for a year with clips and tempted to go back to the good old HT and get myself a nicolai... mmm that bike is sex

but yer on a smoothe track a good HT will keep up with a good dually.. as you benefit in the pedeling but they get you through drops. so what you race on should decide what you ride Smile

also with a HT you can run your seat at any hight and not have to allow for the suspension movement Tongue lol
yep i ride a hardtail looking to get a dually though
i rode ht for a while bought a duelie never looked back
i had a stp also lol, very pimped though.
I think its good to start on a hardtail as it makes you become a smoother rider.

YES!!!!! NICOLAI!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was going to get the 2mxtb frame but I bought a rampage instead... which was a much better idea because you cannot disgrace a nicolai with parts from a bigfoot...

Yer i ride a hardtail its more of a do it all bike. I do a bit of dh, fr, djs, and cross country. Im looking for a dully for all that hard core hucking and dh racing.
