A collection of the south australia tracks and their locations
Freeride:
Kangarilla: Mount panorama on a road map, dont have a road map? from kangarilla to clarendon about 1/2 klm out of kangarilla on the right you'll see a big hill with lots of pine trees, that's it. Awesome fun! Note: MAKE SURE you go with a few mates, if you break your legs or get badly injured NO-ONE will find you for weeks!
Aldgate Quarry: Hardly qualifies as a freeride park/track because it's all run down, there are still a few fun jumps though. From aldgate to stirling look to the right after the train bridge with "Gate 54" or something graffitied onto it and you're an idiot to miss it.
Downhill:
Crafers: A good beginner track, all the way up to a track that's still fun for the better guys, there are a few good hips, gaps doubles and 2 pansy drops, It's a good track for practising corners, there are about 20 or so. It's right next to the crafers primary school, I'll give directions to the top only though (it ends at the school) From the freeway coming up from the city take the crafers exit and at the first round-a-bout turn left to go up the mountain, about 2 km up on the left is a small dirt carpark with an entrance and an exit, straight across the road from the exit is a hail bus stop thing, then go down the track.
Eagle mountain bike park: The downhill track is fairly gnarly, stupid amounts of rock, doubles up to about 6 ft and a 12ftish triple/stepdown. A rocky chute and a hellish rock garden followed by a 10 ft drop at the end make it a challenging track, but there are other tracks around it and a skills area that will give you the confidence to give "The Mixer" a go. For the bottom entrance (far side of the DH track) go down the old freeway and about halfway down on the left will be a corner like this (O=the gate entrance)

The top entrance: From the crafers bus stop (not the park&ride) turn left JUST before you get on the freeway and follow that road, keep going and going and going till you get to a sign that is a map of the park. And remember, no cars allowed in the park unless it's a race day so you'll have to push.
I would give you the fox steep/long/bowl directions but as I've only been there once I cannot remember totally where they are, I'll leave it to someone else, as with the belair tracks I've never even been there (But I know you catch a train so you can get all day shuttles
)
Hope I helped!
