Bike it is fitted to/type of riding it is used for: Its fittd to my head. I use it for everything realy, its great for filming other riders to. I use it on both my XC lid and Full face. It also has street applications if you face it down so you can see both wheels.
Good: Easy way of filming your rides, Reasonable quality footage, Can be adjusted to any angle unlike some competitiors, pretty crash proof.
Bad: You have to take a backpack with your videocamera when you go downhilling, Struggles alot with glare from the sun and alot of footage is wrecked by it going red because of this, dosnt have a remote start stop button so you have alot of wasted footage, Chews up batteries but its only one per ride, the footage requires alot of editing because of all the junk you film but this is probably the same as any other helmet cam so if your not up to editing it then perhaps a helmet cam isnt for you.
Your oppinion:
Despite all the bad i still think it was a great buy, it is the easyest way to film your rides and when things turn out right you can get some awsome footage. The video quality isnt as good as a HD handycam but it isnt pixelated and is a million times better than those junk ones you get off ebay. You still need to plug it into a video camera so make sure yours is compatible before you buy. The glare is also a big issue and it gets anoying sometime so this helmet cam works best on a slightly overcast day though i am going to try and use a plastic hood to fix this and i will let you know how that goes. Overall i would rate it a 8 out of 10.
